Our puppies are weaned using a gruel which is a mixture of Wellness Puppy food, hard boiled eggs, cottage cheese and goats milk. At six weeks of age, we slowly remove the extra ingredients and convert them to the dry food alone.

NOTE: Due to the change in Canidae's formulation, we chose to switch our dry food to Wellness. Wellness is a more expensive food, however, we are very pleased with the results so far.
